Dave grew up living in no less than 25 states and 8 years in Europe, including 3 of 4 years of high school
in Belgium. Traveling and moving almost every year gave him an appreciation for both the diversity and
unity of people across the globe. After attending college, where he acquired a BS in Computer Science,
Management and Accounting, he moved to LA where he pursued post-graduate studies and worked at
Biola University. He and his family then moved to Phoenix to work as an IT analyst which facilitated yet
another move to Dallas to work as a consultant to IBM. The last move he and his family made was to
Colorado in 1995 where he continued as a Managing Director of a consulting firm. Eventually, IT left the
front range during the crash of late 2000. However, Dave stayed to both pursue a restart vocationally
and help plant a local church.
Dave continued in and out of IT, started a mortgage company and pursued various other interests,
including studying and teaching different periods of history, philosophy and theology. His interest and
experience in the mortgage side moved him to begin pursuing a tertiary vocation in real estate. While
working with a couple of firms he landed with Open Door last year and continues to grow his skills while
working with a great team.
Dave’s philosophy regarding real estate is simple. He realizes that it’s rare for an individual agent to
“know it all”. Recognizing this he works hard to employ a team approach for every client he works with.
“Share the expertise, the work and the reward” – an approach that strives to never let a client fall
through cracks or miss vital opportunities.
